Passionate about History,
a Guide by Vocation
Welcome! I am Aurore Schweitzer, a certified tour guide passionate about the infinite richness of Alsatian heritage.
My job is not only to tell the story of the past, but to make the stones come alive and to share with you the soul of the places we explore together.
My Background: A Commitment to Expertise
To provide you with high-quality tours, I have built my expertise on a dual foundation of academic study and field experience:
-
A solid historical background: With a Bachelor’s degree in History, I draw from archives and documentary sources to ensure the historical accuracy of my stories.
-
Professional certification: My Professional License as a Certified Tour Guide is a guarantee of my commitment to high-level cultural tourism.
- Expertise in accessibility: Dedicated to inclusion, I completed a specialized 24-hour training course with Accesens focused on welcoming visitors with disabilities (visual, hearing, and mental impairments) to ensure my tours are accessible to everyone.
Before starting my own business, I had the privilege of gaining experience at some of France’s most iconic heritage sites:
- Le Vergeur Museum in Reims: Where I gave my first tours and confirmed my vocation.
- Guédelon: The adventure of experimental medieval construction.
- Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle: The sandstone giant of the Vosges mountains.
- Hohlandsbourg Castle: The sentinel of Colmar’s history.
My Business: A Journey into the Heart of Alsace
In 2018, I took the leap into entrepreneurship by starting my own business. This choice allows me to offer you a personalized and authentic experience today.
Whether exploring the narrow streets of Colmar, being moved by the Isenheim Altarpiece at the Unterlinden Museum, or discovering the untold stories of the women who shaped our region, I design every tour as a unique encounter between you and History.

Colmar, Strasbourg, Eguisheim, Riquewihr, Kaysersberg...
Thematic Heritage
